Polyface Laying Hen - young pullet starting to lay.

Hatched by Ideal Poultry (full beak, no vaccinations), raised on Polyface Farm.

These are a mixed Polyface breed with heavy Barred Rock influence and coloring along with Rhode Island Red, Black Australorp, and Silver-laced Wyandotte genetics.

These birds have been bred for pasture-life intelligence and longevity, good egg production and can be used as a stewing hen at the end of her life cycle.

We do require 3 days notice. You will need to choose your pick-up day/time at checkout.

Please note when ordering that birds ages 1-8 weeks are sold straight run (unsexed) and will include a mixture of roosters and pullets.
